Discussion:
Way to prevent reformating of E-Mail-Addresses
(too old to reply)

Inbound mail shows sender as i.e. "Firstname Secondname"
<***@domain.com>.

When answering this mail the (same) receiver gets displayed
as Secondname, Firstname.

Is there any way to stop this behavior or at least keep the
<***@domain.com>-part in the receiver-field?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the address is being replaced in the reply by your entry
within one of your personal address books, which is probably set to Last,
First.

"Last, First", correct. The alternative is "First Last" and
since this is also not the way I want it to be displayed (I
want the e-mail-address included) I am lost? Or is there any
chance by any setting in the addressbook-properties to stop
this unintended modifications?

Thanks.

Remove that address book from auto complete, and if this is the main
frequent contacts, check the properties to control when addresses are
automatically added to that book.

The address you see is only cosmetic/display though, the full address is
what is always used in the mail itself

Ah, found it. I will play with it and look what happens.
Thanks again.
